Joining

I have become a joiner lately! LOL  I've been joining all kinds of things... Let's see.  I joined an online book club, I joined a Made to Crave Facebook Group, I joined a Moms Together facebook page and I am having a wonderful time!  I am visiting with other women and it is wonderful.

My Made to Crave journey is going well.  I am really enjoying it.  I think it would be so fun to have a face to face group to go through this study with but since I have been unable to find anyone wanting to do it with me... the online thing is good too.  It is really enlightening and very helpful.  I feel like I am being armed with the weapons I need to win this battle.  (Can you tell I'm an army wife here?  LOL)  I'm not just real far in the book yet but I am enjoying it and how it is making look at things differently.  I have even watched a couple of the webcasts and they are very helpful as well.  I feel empowered and that is just how Lysa wants us to feel.  It's great!  I feel ready to conquer the world!  Well, until the next time I stumble but I'm more prepared for it now than ever.

The book club I joined is called She Reads and we just started the book "Book of Days" and so far I am enjoying the book and having a place to share our thoughts about it.  It's an interesting story.  The author says if you had to describe it, "it would be a cross between "National Treasure" and "Signs" minus the aliens."  :o)  I loved both so I thought it would a neat read.  Here is a trailer for the book.







So what do you think?  I thought it sounded pretty good.  You can read an excerpt I think on Amazon.  It just catches you and draws you in immediately.  I ordered the book but it's not here yet so I have been reading a preview on my ipod till it gets here.  I'm really excited about the book and the book club.  I've always wanted to join one but... have never been invited to one and/or don't know where to find one so... here I am.  Online as usual.  :o)
