Good morning dear friends.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with family, friends, food, fun and lots of thanksgiving.
I have so much to be thankful for and thought I'd share it here. I'm thankful for my wonderful family and all of my friends. I have a wonderful husband who loves me and takes care of me and supports me. I have two beautiful, healthy and just plain great kids. I have friends who care about me and support me. I have a beautiful home with clothes in the closets and food on the table. I have good transportation and I have places I can go. Oh, and I have an absolutely adorable dog. What more could I ask for?
We had a good day yesterday. We turkey with all the trimmings and yes I ate way too much!! I need to go get on the treadmill and walk some of it off! We invited my DD's best friends family over. Her dad is deployed as well. The kids enjoyed playing together and I enjoyed visiting with their mom.
It was a very nice day. We worked on a 500 piece puzzle and although it is very frustrating, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a very hard time sleeping knowing it wasn't finished!! I need to get in there and get to work on it.
We watched "It's Thanksgiving, Charlie Brown" and Charlie Brown's "The Mayflower". Then DS and I watched the original "Yours, Mine, and Ours". He loved it! It was so funny to watch him watching it. I've always loved it. Then we finished off with "Without a Trace" and the news. We didn't really want to watch the news but I couldn't stop working on the puzzle!!
Then, as I was heading to bed DH called again (he'd called earlier) to see how my day went and make sure I wasn't too sad. He's so sweet! I just love him.
I hope you all had a great day and that you don't get lost in shopping this shopping day. I'm not really into the day after Thanksgiving Shopping. In fact I hate it! So I'll be home today finishing cleaning up after yesterday and getting ready to start pulling out my Christmas things. And yes, working on my puzzle!!
Have a wonderful day!
