Yes, that's how I'm feeling today. I'm missing my husband terribly and loving him even more. He is so cute and just a wonderful husband. How I wish he was here with me right now. I'd love to curl up on the sofa with him and watch a good movie in his arms.

I'd love to cook him a good meal, maybe some Chicken Parmesan and Fettucini Alfredo and then in the morning fix him some homemade biscuits and gravy with sausage. I would even enjoy doing his... I can't believe I'm going to say this.... his laundry!!!

I'd just love to be near him. He called tonight and just talked and talked. I loved just listening to his voice. I told him to tell he loves me and he did then he said, "Can you believe we are going on 14 years of marriage?" (We've been a couple going on 17 years. WOW!)

I giggled and said, "Promise me 14 more?" He did and then I said was going up the ante to 20 more years and he laughed and said he'd be there. Oh how I love him.

  1. HEHEHEHE--don't you wish you could tell the young how great married love truly is. I had to live it to understand it though I was surrounded by it all the time in my parents, grandparents and friends.

    Praying for time to fly.

  2. I just went back and read some old posts from last summer and fall. You should read them again to remind yourself how great you are doing with DH gone. You inspire me to be a better mom and wife and to love those who are near but not behaving nicely (yes, my Honey) unconditionally and not take it (him) for granted.

I'd love to join you on the swing with a diet coke after all the kiddos are in bed.

    McKinney isn't that far away.

  3. well, thank you. I'm not sure that I'm very inspiring but it's kind of neat to think I might inspire someone. Thanks.

  4. OH! I forgot to mention above that I would love to share a swing and sip a diet coke with you. That would be soooo cool!

(I'm starting sound like a little kid!!! UGH!! I fear I digress. giggle)
