Update

Well, we are busy with our schoolwork and it is going great!! We are having fun and learning lots. The kids are awesome.

I've been so busy with them that I haven't really been getting to any of my projects on the house but once we get used to being back in our routines I'm sure I'll get to them.

Well, there really isn't a lot to say, I did post a little more on our Homeschooling Blog but I don't want to just repeat all that here. I'll update again when I can.

Good News

Well, DH's deployment as been put off a few extra weeks so we are excited to have the extra time together.

His leave is over now though so tomorrow is back to work for us all. The kids and I have pretty much taken off the whole time DH has been leave so that we could just enjoy each other. It's been really nice.

I'm ready to get back to our routines though. I need to sit down today and look over where we are and where we are going.

I have lots of projects around the house I want to get too.

Well, just thought I'd post a little ditty. Until next time....

Happy New Year!

Well, we have been traveling and we are finally home again. It was good to see family but I really love being home in my little world.

Okay, first thoughts....

I'm sad that Joe Biden is out of the race. Yes, he was my favorite this time around. I'm a Texas voter and so my vote doesn't really count in the primary races so it doesn't really matter who I want because it will be decided long before I even get to vote so...

Now, on to new year type thoughts...

There is lots that I want to do this year. New habits I want to form. My DD said her goals are to get smarter, to play more, to paint more and to sew more. How cute is that! She's 8 in case you don't know.

I guess I would like to MAKE A DIFFERENCE, read more, write more, play the piano more, draw/paint more, exercise more, watch less tv, spend less time on the computer, work more with the kids, eat better... whew! I'm tired already!

What plans do you have for the new year?
