Bible Study?

I'm thinking of doing the Bible Study "Desperate Housecries!" and am wondering if anyone would like to join me?  I think it's best to do it with someone so that you can get different points of view.  You might catch something I miss or I might have a different understanding or so on and so forth.  It could be just chatting online together about it or we could meet at my house or something.  I figure the more the merrier too!  I am more than happy to lead or better yet, facilitate this so, please let me know if you are interested.  I found this on a website and thought it was going to be a book but it appears to be PWOC study that can be downloaded.  Still seems interesting to me.

Here's a little snippet about it...

Desperate Housecries!
by Ronda Sturgill

Is your life slowly starting to unravel around you? Perhaps you're in a difficult marriage, have a wayward child or, you've lost your job. Are you struggling with an addiction? Do you feel trapped by your circumstances and see no hope on the horizon? Put your desperation behind and learn how to become desperate for God. Based upon the book of Ruth, this interactive, 6 week Bible study will lead you to discover genuine hope that will enable you to face any difficult situation. God wants you to become strong, firm and steadfast. Through the lives of Ruth, Naomi and Boaz, you will learn how to practically apply Biblical principles that will take you from desperation to restoration. Experience the life changing results of finding a deeper hope in Him.

Wives of the WarriorsI don't know if it's a perfect fit for me but I thought it sounded interesting.  Let me know if you are interested! I'm really wanting to do something.  I was also considering "Wives of the Warriors" by the same author.  So let me know if you might be interested in this one too!

  1. Always enjoy your posts - they are so encouraging to so many of us. Listen, it's a little off subject but I wanted to make sure that I shared with you a new application that was shared with our family over the holidays. Thought you may want to check it out & share with your readers, as we have found Children's Bible to be an awesome addition to our family. Children's Bible is an app designed for children 3-13 & shares Bible stories through comics. It is available for most smart phones & computers. We have found this is a great way to get our children in the habit of reading the Bible, & it's on their level. Just something we have found that works & wanted to pass along. Check out childrenbible.org & I think you will find it's worth the time & the kids love it!Thanks again for all you share with us.
