Musings by Mommy

Well, don't have a lot to say. DD slept most of the day. I hope she is feeling better. She hasn't vomited since 2:30 this afternoon so maybe she is on the mend. I hope so.

I guess I'm back to feeling down now. DH has some things planned, that worry me. I have rules and he's breaking them soon and it worries me. (No, I never thought the army would play by my rules but I have try, you know?)

Anyway, I can't really place what it is that's making me down other than the just missing DH but there is something. I hate the army. Always have. And I'm hating pretty strongly today. I'm trying not to but.... anyway, that could be it.... who knows.

Well, I'm off to bed. DD kept me up most of the night last night so maybe I can catch up tonight. Goodnight dear cyber friends.

  1. I think I remember that rule. If I'm right it's the same one I had with my husband. He willfully broke it too.

I hope DD is over her illness. Hang in there.

  3. Thanks for the encouragement. DD just came in and said her tummy hurt and she can't sleep. I offered her some crackers. She took tiny bites but ate them super fast. She didn't eat anything yesterday so I'm sure the "hurt" is hunger. A good sign I hope.

Beachgirl- thanks for coming by and for your kind words. Drop by anytime!

P.S. excuse any typos it' 3:30 am and I'm without my glasses!

  4. I almost wrote this big post about the Army and why you are down, but I deleted it.

All I can say is I hope you are doing better and feeling up today!

  5. CS, why delete it? I'm not exactly feeling up but I guess I'm a little better. Thanks. You stay safe.

  6. I have my own conflicted thoughts when it comes to the Army, so I can't blame you.

But It's kind of like hating the dentist, you hate that your there but you have to be there. The dentist, also might not want to be there. But the Dentist is only doing what it was told to. A neccessary medium or functional puppet.

That's probably the worst and most obscure analogy in the world, but it's late and is all I could think of.

I guess the only brightside is, that eventually you leave the dentist office in better shape than when you came in.

O.k., I'm done now. Seriously done with this analogy.

  7. Thanks for stopping by Rolligun. Your analogy made me smile. Thanks. Only 6 more years in the Dentist chair!
